I Have Been A Ski Lover My Whole Life.
When I was young, my parents would take me on a ski trip to Utah every year.
I cherished every memory we created during those trips. The endless joy & laughter - these are the things I would never forget.
Then things changed in 2016. My mom passed away in March and followed by my dad in July.
Losing my mom was hard enough, but losing my dad in the same year broke me. That’s when my weight started to creep up.
I couldn’t process their death and had to seek comfort from food. I would binge eat everything to numb the pain.
As time passed, this became a habit that I couldn't shake off.
I was so out of shape and could hardly walk anywhere without getting totally out of breath, let alone skiing.
